The ritual called "The wedding ceremony" is really the final scene of a fairy tale, they never tell you what is after the wedding, they never tell you that Cindarella turned the Prince crazy with her obssesive need to claen the clastle. They dont tell us what is after, because there is no AFTER.The beginning and the end of the romantic love is......marriage.
But it wasnt always like that before. In the 13th century there was something called Courtery love, where love had nothing to do with marrieage and nothing to do with Sex, in most cases it was defined as a passional relationship between a knight and a cout lady ,who of course was already marriaged, and so they coul never consumate their love.In this way they went for somthing more devine. They took sex out of the equation and what was left was an union of souls.Sex was always the fatal love posion. Look at the literature of that time..lancelot and Wendolen .All consumation would lead to madness ,despair of even death.Clinical expert are united in the belief that true love has spiritual dimension while romantic love is a myth, a lie, an illusion full with manipulation.Speaking of manipulation , is like going to the movies and we see the lovers kiss, and the music dwell and we buy it.So when my date takes me to the movie and then home ,if i dont hear the philarmonica then i dump him.
Now the question is..why do we buy it?We buy it because whter it is a myth or a manipulation ,lets face it ,We all want to fall in love.Because that experience makes us feel completely alive, where every sense is highten, every emotion is magnified ,everyday reality is shattered and we are flung into the heavens.it may onlylast ans hour, a day an aefternoon but it doesnt disminish its value, because we are left with momeries that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. So, the fianl question is.. why people want to fall in love when it can have such a short life and it can be desvastely paintful, beacuse for me.....WHEN IT DOES LAST IT FEEL FUCKING GREAT
